Sometimes the most rewarding journeys are those you take for someone else. Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø students participating in alternative winter break trips through the Max Shacknai Center for Outreach, Volunteerism, and Education (COVE) traveled on humanitarian missions to the Dominican Republic, West Virginia, and New Orleans in December.

Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø students participating in Day in the Life career shadowing during winter break spent some time with Dr. Drew, stepped behind the scenes at ESPN, witnessed orthopedic surgery, and tasted the sweeter side of business at Georgetown Cupcake.

The numbers tell only part of the success story of the new Digital Learning and Media Center (DLMC) at Case Library and Geyer Center for Information Technology. The reaction from students who worked on projects last semester helps round out what the center has meant for learning at Ïã¸ÛÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø since its opening in September 2012.
