This Saturday, while the Raiders prepare to defend their house before a crowd of Family Weekend supporters, President Jeffrey Herbst and his family will celebrate the rededication of their campus home, situated near the O’Connor Campus Center and the university observatory.

As a student, Mark Buttitta ’74 defended ������ϲʹ��� football’s line of scrimmage. As an alumnus, he still noted the passing of summer by counting off the weeks until practices would start at his alma mater.

This past Thursday, George Weigel, a Catholic theologian regarded as one of the nation’s leading public intellectuals, visited campus to discuss Karol Wojtyla’s life and his stature as a saint for the modern world.
